Killin' Floor
Killin' Floor was formed in early 2025 by two talented musicians, Paul Johnson and Regan Owens, both former members of the Rusty Nails Blues Band.
After the Nails decided to disband, Paul, the lead
guitarist, and Regan, the lead singer, joined forces
to create something new.
Initially starting as a duo with a looper to create a full band sound, they quickly expanded their line-up by recruiting a rhythm section comprising of electric bass (Dan Wiseman) and drums (Graham Brennan).
Together, they began to refine their sound and hit the boards, performing across Yorkshire and Lancashire.
The next stage in the evolution of Killin' Floor was to recruit experienced keys player, Terence "Tec" Etchells. His addition created a fuller sound, allowing Paul to focus on developing the lead guitar. This strategic move not only enhanced the band's musical depth but also set the stage
for a more dynamic performance.
The band, known for their captivating renditions of both modern and classic blues, is now on an exciting journey
to create their own original music. With each note, they blend their unique style and influences, promising a
fresh take on the genre.
Fans can also look forward to a collection of original tracks that showcase their creativity and passion for blues.
