The original Killin' Floor.

Paul & Regan initially started out as an electric duo using a

looper pedal to achieve a full band sound.

All loops were played and recorded in their home studio, allowing

them to layer vocals and guitar over the top during live performances.

They have since moved to a more traditional acoustic duo approach, however Paul will still uses the occasional live loop to add interest.

It takes two...

About the duo.

Regan and Paul have been partners in life and music since 2022.

Killin' Floor Duo was initially born out of necessity.   Having played a trio gig (Rack of Nails) with fellow Rusty Nails bandmate, Chris Martin, they were asked to play Wakefield's Rhubarb Festival.  Unfortunately, Chris was unable to attend, but Regan accepted the gig anyway.

This meant that Paul & Regan needed to put a set together and decide on a sound.

They quickly settled on a full band sound using a looper, Bass Amp, Guitar Amp and Drum PA.

The only thing left to do was to learn how to use the equipment!!!

Having put together a set and performed successfully at Rhubarb Festival, Paul & Regan decided to carry on as a duo, but also look for a rhythm section to complete the band.
